Questions about the Steven card

  • Your card is activated from the start but to be able to use contactless payment you need to use it in an ATM or a payment terminal one time first. The day after you've ordered your card you will be able to use it for online purchases.

  • By default your card is set up for online purchases so you don't have to do anything. If you would like to block online purchase you log into the app and go to Account -> My card -> Online purchases.

  • You might have blocked your card in the app or blocked it for online purchases which you can see if you go to Account -> My card. There you will be able to reset the blocks.

Another reason might be that you balance is to low, but it can also be a result of some technical issues - either with the store, with Steven or with one of our partners. If your problems persist please contact our support via the chat in the app or on our web site.

  • If a store or a web shop has refunded you for an item it usually takes a few day before the money is available for you.

  • No, at the moment you can't change your card pin, but if you need help to remember the pin you can find it in the app within Account->My card -> PIN

  • The card is free of charge as part of our Premium offer. You will find current prices here.

  • You will usually receive your card within 5 business days after ordering, but you can use your card for online purchases already the day after you placed the order.

  • Usually the transaction is in fact for something you bought yourself, but it is a bit difficult to recognize. Maybe the name of the store is different from what the transaction says. Check the date, time and amount and try to remember where your were. If it is apparent that it is not a transaction made by you, please block the card in the app and contact our support team.

  • You block your card directly in the app or if you have also lost your mobile, email us at info@getsteven.com. If you have the possibility, please review the latest transactions to make sure they seem correct.
